We built MSI Installer because we were tired of the complexity of traditional MSI packaging tools. WiX Toolset is powerful but requires XML expertise. Other commercial tools are expensive and bloated. We wanted something in between — a professional GUI that harnesses WiX 4.x power without the learning curve.
Today, MSI Installer offers four distinct project types: Standard MSI, Lightweight Installer (~50KB stub with remote payload), Advanced Burn Bundles with prerequisites, and Wrapper MSI for repackaging existing installers. All with an intuitive visual interface built on .NET 8.0 and WPF.
